Elevate League ("we", "us", "our") provides mental performance coaching, workshops and speaking services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through elevateleague.au, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1. What we collect
We only collect information you give us directly. Depending on which form you use, that may include:
- Playbook signup: your first name and email address.
- Workshop and speaking enquiries: your name, email address, phone number and the organisation, club, school or event you represent.
- 1:1 coaching application: your name, contact details and the answers you give about your sport and goals.
Like most websites, our hosting platform also records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this only to keep the site running and to understand how it is used.
2. Why we collect it
- To send you the Mental Performance Playbook and related emails you have asked for.
- To respond to your enquiry about workshops, programmes or speaking.
- To assess and respond to coaching applications.
- To keep a record of who we have spoken to so we can follow up properly.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
3. Marketing emails
If you sign up for the Playbook, you are agreeing to receive emails from Elevate League about mental performance, including news about our programmes and events. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time and we will stop sending marketing emails promptly.
We do not send marketing text messages unless you have specifically agreed to receive them.
4. Who we share it with
Your information is stored in our customer relationship and email platform, which is provided by a third-party software company and hosted on servers that may be located outside Australia and New Zealand, including in the United States. We use this platform to store contact details, send emails and manage enquiries. We only share your information with service providers who need it to do work for us, and who are required to keep it secure.
We may also disclose personal information where required by law.
5. How we keep it secure
Access to your information is limited to Elevate League and the people who help us run the business. Our platform uses industry-standard security including encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep a record of your email address so we can make sure we do not contact you again.
7. Access and correction
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to measure how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Turning them off may affect how some parts of the site work.
9. Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites, including social media and video platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand (privacy.org.nz).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
